July Sparkles: Top Events to Light Up Your Month

🌉 4th of July Fireworks in the City 🎆

A fireworks display will be launched from two barges on the Bay beginning at 9:30 pm— one located at PIER 39 and another located at Aquatic Park. Our neighborhood restaurants, activities, and retail shops in Fisherman's Wharf WILL be open. Please note: Dress appropriately for the weather, which can get cold and windy. A good jacket/blanket can help keep you warm.

🏞 Celebrate 4th of July in San Mateo 🎆

Wear your best red, white, & blue and enjoy a lovely day in the park under the sun in Central Park. Family fun activities start at 11:00 and the concert will be from 12:00 - 2:00.

 🎸 Music on the Square in Redwood City 🎶

Enjoy our 18th year of free, top-quality local and national musical performers — from rock and reggae, to Latin and much more. Music fans of all ages will be thrilled to discover the most popular summer concert series on the Peninsula. Courthouse Square is the Community's "Living Room," and the weather can't be beat!

 🦀 San Francisco Marathon Weekend 🏃‍♀️

Runners follow a loop course through the city streets, starting and finishing on the Embarcadero near the Ferry Building. Along the way, participants will pass many iconic San Francisco sites. These include Fisherman's Wharf, the Marina, Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio and Golden Gate Park. The last section leads down the famous Haight Street as runners pass through the Mission, Potrero and Mission Bay Districts, behind AT&T Park and under the Bay Bridge before reaching the finish line. Runners must be registered by July 12 to enter. Other races offered this weekend are a 5K, 10K and Half Marathon!
